Mineral Insulated Copper Cable (MICC) is a premium power and control cable designed for applications that demand exceptional fire resistance, thermal stability, and long operational life. The cable consists of solid copper conductors insulated with highly compacted magnesium oxide (MgO) and enclosed within a seamless copper sheath, forming a completely inorganic cable structure.

This mineral insulation system provides outstanding resistance to fire, extreme temperatures, moisture ingress, radiation, chemicals, and mechanical stress. MICC cables are capable of maintaining electrical performance during direct fire exposure and can operate at very high temperatures without degradation. Unlike organic insulated cables, MICC produces no toxic gases, no dense smoke, and no flame propagation during fire conditions, making it particularly suitable for life safety systems.

The outer copper sheath offers excellent corrosion resistance and also acts as an effective electromagnetic shield and grounding conductor. This integrated structure enhances electrical safety while reducing the need for additional protective components. MICC cables are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, including tunnels, substations, petrochemical plants, power stations, transportation systems, and emergency infrastructure.
